At Home there are Two kinds of connection to the router and they are:

1. Wired Connection. ( Known as Ethernet connection)

2. Wireless Connection

Ethernet

The Ethernet connection is a cable plugged into the router and into the back of your Home Computer.

These cables can come in serveral different colours.

Wireless

Your computer has a built in Device which can directly pick up the signal send from the router.

using a wireless device you will have to enter a password which is attached or stuck on the back of the router.
